JOB TITLE: SAP BW Consultant

JOB LOCATION: Lexington , MA

JOB DURATION: 12 - 24 months +

SALARY: $90,000 + full benefits

HOURLY RATE: $60 - $70/hr

Basic Function and Responsibility:

Our client is in the process of upgrading the SAP Business Warehouse (BW) system from version 3.5 to 7.0. The upgrade plan is to complete all functional upgrades before the end of March 2010. Work assignments will be directed by the Team Lead for Management Reporting and Business Applications.

The candidate's main responsibilities will be to work closely with the SAP BW team, assisting with upgrading functional components to the new versions of tools and methodologies introduced with the new version of the SAP product. The work will consist primarily in converting the existing ETL structures and related processes to the SAP 7.0 version. In addition, the candidate will assist in converting two existing SAP BPS applications to SAP-Integrated Planning module (SAP-IP).

The candidate must be knowledgeable with SAP BW 3.5 and 7.0 and possess strong ABAP skills, including ABAP-OO. In addition, the candidate must be familiar with SAP module, Integrated Planning.
