REQUIRED GENERAL SKILLS:

Support existing SAP production and development.

Must be able to analyze client organization requirements in Plant Maintenance (PM) and Materials Management (MM), form a process-oriented solution, implement the solution and trouble shoot problems.

Experience utilizing SAP to drive Reliability Based Maintenance planning and analysis.

Experience implementing SAP PM in a large manufacturing organization.

Experience with Portal products and/or on Parts Look Up efforts (from SAP execute search for/identification of parts by fit/form/function, isometric drawings, etc.) is a plus. Evaluate cross-project, cross-module implications and interrelationships of new configuration across SAP modules. Keep configurations in synch across all production and development environments and document configuration decisions so that knowledge is retained.


Ability to assist in the development of training materials for PM and MM. Potential to provide lead role on small enhancement projects.


Hardware/Operating Systems/Environments: MS Windows, SAP R/3 Mandatory


REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

3-5 years SAP Functional/Configuration Expertise in one or more SAP modules is required.

Strong Plant Maintenance (PM) and MM (Materials Management) experience is mandatory:
Knowledge of Warehouse Management (WM), Inventory Management (IM), Financial/Controlling (FI/CO) and Project Systems (PS) is a plus.

1-3 years experience in SAP R/3 Version 4.6.c is preferred.
Experience interfacing data from external systems to SAP PM using BAPI's is a plus.


3-5 years experience with translating business requirements into functional computer based systems.


DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT

The candidate will participate in the Purchasing & Plant Maintenance Systems effort to support existing production functionality and execute development projects using SAP R3's PM and MM functionality

Understanding of Financial/Controlling (FI/CO) impacts of PM/MM activity is also required.

Support activities are expected to average about 30% of the time. While initial support requests are handled by a Level 2 Help Desk - issues that cannot be resolved at that level will be turned over to Level 3 (configurator) for resolution.

Additionally, customer requests for research (new functionality) is handled as support.

The development efforts require the candidate to work with a customer to gather requirements for several planned and unplanned (enhancements funding not yet targeted for specific work) development efforts.

Some of those include: Plant Maintenance design and rollout to Packaging Group plants; Asset Management -- which allows for automated rescheduling of planned work orders based on a single timeframe revision; Custom Machine Data migration into SAP - a project to replace an existing access data base and support Reliability Management; WEB PM - initial investigation/development of a WEB/Portal strategy for PM.

Additionally, candidate would be responsible for SAP PM/MM configuration and interaction with technical teams (BASIS, ABAP resource pool, support desk) to ensure successful implementation and on going support. Knowledge of ABAP Query is a plus.

Other development efforts for 2005 will be defined during 1st Qtr 2005. The position will be part of the Purchasing and Plant Maintenance Systems department, which will establish configuration, business analysis and functional requirements standards.

Candidate will perform business analysis and aid development and support efforts in successfully implementing SAP for business units. Individual must facilitate technology knowledge transfer from Vendor to existing staff.

The candidate will report to the Purchasing and Plant Maintenance Team Lead/Manager. Candidate may be matrixed to defined projects - and be responsible for reporting assignment/task status to the respective development managers.
