Position Start Date: Nov-22-2004
Position End Date: Feb-28-2005
Possible Contract-to-Hire opportunity

Primary Qualifications:
Minimum three years SAP Basis system administration experience (or
equivalent) supporting and installing SAP systems.
Minimum of three years system administration or network experience (or
equivalent)
Previous installation of at least two complete SAP landscapes including
R/3, Web Application Server (WAS) and/or ITS.
Experience installing and maintaining SAP in an Oracle/UNIX environment.

Have a minimum of six months of experience in a leadership or project
management role relating to SAP Basis and/or implementing an SAP
application.
Understanding of the basic elements ABAP.
Working knowledge of ASAP methodology.
Experience in technical troubleshooting and in resolving SAP Basis
production issues.
Experience in technical troubleshooting and in resolving ERP production
issues.

Job Description:
Installation and setup of SAP CRM and Internet Sales in
a HP UNIX and Oracle environment (R/3 version 4.7X)
Configuration of system communications to other applications via
RFC/CPIC/ALE and plug-ins
Application of SAP's support packages and kernel updates
Setup and configuration of the J2EE engine
Installation and configuration of SAP Web Application Servers
Forecasting technology requirements based on business' requirements and
SAP's release strategy
Providing direction for integration of SAP with third enterprise
application integration (EAI)
Providing technical consulting to application development and functional
teams
Managing and/or consulting on the architecture and design of the
hardware and software
System landscape and installation documentation
24/7 support with on call rotation df-tc
