Our client is seeking a SAP Consultant to migrate a SAP SCM landscape between geographically different data centers. The landscape that will be migrated is an SAP SCM 4.0 landscape, running Livecache 7.4 on Maxdb
. SAP Basis System Management
. Capacity and Performance Management SAP SCM Environments (SAP SCM environment includes related Livecache and Optimizer instances)

Experience/Skills
In order to be successful in this role candidates should have the following experience:
. Execution of SAP Basis Tasks for SAP SCM/APO Environments
o Landscape installations in the target data centre, both SAP SCM and Livecache compoenents.
. Design and execute TMS configuration for the SCM landscape during and after the migration project.
o Work with HP customer basis resources to ensure that landscape stability remains intact throughout the migration project whilst development, testing and production systems reside in geographically different data centres.
. Capacity Planning for APO Environments
o Work with customer representative and application project teams to determine growth requirements
o Perform size exercises
o Deliver Ad-hoc sizing reviews
o Define server and storage capacity requirements for business requirements
o Recommend technical architecture to deliver the application performance required by the business
. Performance Management and Tuning for SAP SCM Environments
o Identify and resolve potential bottlenecks in hardware, database, and application
o Identify tuning opportunities for database and Application
. Performance Issue Resolution for SAP SCM Environments
o Act as expert escalation point for performance outages
o Analyze root cause of performance incidents and recommend short and long term fixes
