Description
Role:
Responsible for ensuring that development/delivery, testing, installation and turn-up milestones are met for SAP supporting Supply Chain Transformation.

Oversee and approve design decisions related to SAP.

Translates functional/operational goals into team goals. Manages implementation of policies, procedures, and programs with responsibility for financial and/or operational results.

Responsible for planning, organizing, integrating, coordinating, and controlling the activities of teams in the US and offshore. Accountable for results in terms of costs, budgets, operational goals, and employees.

Acts as an advisor and or expert to subordinates for elevated issues and problems. Works on diverse issues that require significant interpretation.

Experience/Skills
#1- Project Management Experience with SAP Projects
#2- Minimum 5 years directly related SAP experience including in-depth knowledge of System Development Life Cycle running and maintaining Enterprise Resource Planning systems.
Necessary-
* Experience in ABAP, the programming language of SAP
* Multiple years of experience in managing software development contractors / statement of work development deliverables
* At least 5 years of operations experience in Oracle and Linux operating system environments.
* Very detail oriented with strong Project Management skills.
* Excellent communication skills and understanding of management techniques with the ability to resolve employee relations issues, performance and rewards issues.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience


Desired Skills: Experience managing offshore teams a plus.
