Description
Our client, who is one of the top 40 companies in the world in their industry are in need of your SAP FI Functional Expertise. We have a 2+ month contract with a high likelihood of extending available in Marietta, GA. We are looking for qualified candidates who can interview and start ASAP.

In this position you will cover the following responsibilities:

  • Technical implementation and support of SAP ERP 2004 ECC FI functions including asset accounting branches located in the US and Canada in a global SAP system.
  • Organization of adaptations in Finance (International Accounting Standards, new business processes etc.).
  • Spot consulting and support.
  • Analysis, design, test, and implementation of remaining open SAP FI functions.
  • Go live support and system maintenance as part of an international SAP Knowledge Centre and project team.

Experience/Skills
Skills and Experience:

  • Degree in business administration (or equivalent education).
  • 5 years practical experience as SAP IT analyst for finance in industrial companies in US (preferably pharmaceuticals).
  • Very good knowledge of SAP in Finance (FI-AA,FI-AP,FI-AR, Treasury) :
  • Technical : structure of db, basic knowledge of ABAP not for programming but to be able to analyze and solve functional problems
  • Functional: knowledge of FI alone is not sufficient but also links of FI with other modules: CO, MM, SD, PS.
  • Knowledge of US financial rules (Canadian pay rules knowledge is a plus).
  • Knowledge of specific US software:
    travel costs (Concur); Payroll (Cyborg), banking interfaces.
  • Ability to work with a World Wide Network of people.
  • Ability to coordinate the work of programmers.
  • Ability to talk with users and organize all aspects of testing etc-.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork capability, very good customer communication skills, and strong commitment.
