Requirement: SAP FICO--Japanese(read, write, speak) Details: Specailized in Finance. Assist with the implementation of SAP software in Japan. These resources should read, write, and speak Japanese, in addition to the requirements listed on the attached description. The duration of these assignments is approximately 5 months: beginning immediately, with a planned end of October 31. Candidates can be based out of either Glendale or Tokyo, but will be expected to travel to the opposite location at least once for approximately 3-4 weeks at a time. Please ensure all candidates submitted are willing and able to travel internationally to Japan or California and any other territories as requested. Skill Requirements: The primary role of this position is to support the CFI - Project Global implementation of WB-including the implementation of the Japanese language. This individual will assist in the review of the key design and identify gaps and issues impacted by the Japanese Language for the WB - Japan. This individual will perform business analyst responsibilities as assigned which could include requirements gathering, configuration, and testing. This position will be responsible for the translation of key documents such as, but not limited to business processes or test scenarios. This position will be responsible for the execution of key deliverables during the realization and final preparation phase of the projects, including interfacing with business unit end users during testing and cutover. Key Job Responsibilities: ? Provides advice and guidance on approaches to best practice to Language implementation for items in scope ? Document applicable business processes and procedures in the assigned areas, and update key business process documents to include language dependent areas. ? Develop a unit test plan focusing on key functionality and areas in scope for the language implementation ? Analyze WB development objects, focusing on enhancements and modifications and identify gaps or issues impacted by the language implementation. ? Develop a solid test plan to include best business practices for SAP Japanese language implementation in addition to business process testing. ? Executes comprehensive testing plans, collects test results and publish findings for both English and Japanese Language testing ? Facilitate the testing activities in Japanese during testing with the territories in Japan. ? Translate and update test cases as applicable for the language implementation ? Manages tasks list, issue resolution, and project deliverables as assigned. ? Perform cutover, conversion and Go-live tasks as assigned ? Manage and ensure comprehensive knowledge transfer of SAP skills in the assigned area. Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with a minimum of 4-5 years configuration experience with either or both the SAP Finance and SAP Controlling modules; or related equivalent experience in Procurement processes including the usage of EBP/SRM and R/3 Material Management. Preferred work experience in the Entertainment Industry SAP experience - Versions 4.6 ++ - Communication skills (Reading, Writing and speaking) in both Japanese and English language. The individual must have formal language knowledge in English and Japanese with the ability to speak, present, write and translate between the two languages. Also, Japanese language proficiency must be in all four different character sets (e.g. Kanji, Katakana, etc.) The individual must have at least 1-2 years of SAP implementation experience in the above given areas. Experience must include at least two full-life cycles of implementation in SAP. One life-cycle must include Japanese language implementation. Knowledge of Mercury Test Director Tool and ability to use the tool to execute test scripts, create test scenarios is preferred. Ability to travel abroad required. The individual may have to travel to Japan/US for extended periods of 3-4 weeks depending on where he/she is based out of. Knowledge of Korean or Chinese languages is a plus.
