Overview:
This position is responsible for supporting SAP ERP 6.0 Financials. Candidates must have functional and configuration experience with FICO including: New GL, AP, AR, Controlling, FSCM, and Purchasing. We need an expert with hands on experience with SAPs Controlling Module supporting Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders and integration to New GL and CO-Profitability Analysis. This position is responsible for coordinating the development, enhancement, and maintenance of the SAP Financials. We are looking for strong knowledge of the Controlling (CO) module of SAP in additional to Financial knowledge.

Responsibilities:- Monitor system functionality and recommend and apply changes to avoid impacting system and business operations.
- Configure, test, debug, install and support package applications.
- Provide business analysis of the FICO Module and submodules within SAP.
- Prepare and maintain process design, configuration, testing, operational and training documentation.
- Responsible for interacting with the Business Users and SAP Technical Team members, IT Associates, Customers, and other external partners as necessary to address requirements for assigned initiatives and address issues as they arise.
- Responsible for the configuration, testing and support of the functionality in the SAP ECC environment.
- Responsible for maintaining development standards as needed.
- Provide functional support for analysis, design, configuration, testing and implementation.
- Investigate and resolve issues as they occur in a timely manner.
- Interact with Basis and Technical Team for problem investigation, resolution, and verification.
- Raise issues to the appropriate people as they arise.
- Interact with the business and SAP Technical team, IT Associates, Customers, and external partners as necessary to address business initiatives and issues.
- Prepare status reports on all assigned initiatives.
- Ensure work hours are entered and applied to the appropriate task and completed on time.
- Participate in staff meetings.
- Provide mentoring as needed for various topics including non-technical, business functions, and soft skills.
- Maintain SAP functional competency through attending classes, seminars, and conferences.

Qualifications:- 5 to 10 years related experience
- Strong expertise with the Controlling module including: multiple Cost Center accounting and Internal Order data design, as well as allocations, Internal Order settlements and budgeting processes.
- Minimum 5 years SAP experience with one or more full cycle implementations
- Experience with ASAP Methodology
- Minimum 3 years experience configuring FICO
- Experience in customization, integration and gap analysis
- Ability to create and execute test scripts
- Experience with SAP testing tools such as eCatt
- Experience with Wholesale Distribution
- Knowledge of the integration points between Finance and other functional areas
- Solution Manager experience
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong independent work ethic
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Vistex experience is a plus.
- Experience with FSCM a plus
- Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook
