SAP Finance and HR Lead Consultant

Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Duration: 1 year

Description:
This role is responsible for governance over the SAP Finance and HR application areas.
Ensures cohesive delivery of services across multiple external and internal IT service providers.
Responsible for supporting the integration and subject matter expertise needs of finance and HR related IT projects.
Maintain relationships with multiple service providers to support issue resolution and overall service level governance.
Govern maintenance, repair and operations and system service requests for finance applications as well as HR.

Responsibilities:
Supervises IT Change Management processes for all Finance and HR application (SAP and non-SAP environments)
Develop application and process Subject Matter Expertise on Finance & HR areas
Oversee finance application technology projects
Work with providers and contract staff to implement service improvement programs as necessary
Monitor & report service level exceptions and conduct periodic service audits and customer reviews
Participate in weekly change control meetings and regional steering committee meetings representing the Finance and HR areas
Support the contract staffing of Finance application team
Support the implementation of new finance systems and services as well as decommissioning these systems.
Supervises the HR Application Team and governs vendor resources supporting the Finance applications
Define the finance application technology direction for client.
Communicate technology strategy to business, region, group and suppliers
Set finance application architecture direction
Define Finance application policies, standards, patterns and guidelines
Provide technology consulting and alternatives in support of new systems implementations
Support monthly Business Continuity Index metric efforts

Over 8 years of experience in SAP Accounting, Controlling and Human Resources modules
ITIL Foundation Certification and Change Management Experience (desired)
