Description
The System Analyst role will facilitate discussions with business colleagues to understand needed functions. They will then turn the business requirement into an SAP solution based on knowledge of the softwareand work with IT and business colleagues to resolve application issues, ensure application integrity, and drive adherence to deliverable commitments.

<b>Major Duties and Responsibilities:</b>
- Liaison with Business Partner(s) and appropriate stakeholders to understand business requirements and drive solutions. Negotiate with business colleagues to design the best SAP solution for all affected areas of GMAC.
- Configure SAP solution to match business requirements. Unit test configuration and facilitate user acceptance testing
- Interact with other IT components, both internal and outsourced, to manage SAP application support. Conduct root cause analysis of issues
- Produce and maintain required SDLC documentationdf-tc


Experience/Skills
<b>Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</b>
- Ability to interact with various business unit to understand process and design requirements
- Ability to clearly document functional and non-functional requirements
- Ability to prioritize work efforts and management customer demand
- Ability to accurately estimate work effort for requested minor enhancements
- Ability to organize and maintain required documentation
- Customer Focus – a proven track record of customer satisfaction. Ability to establish and maintain appropriate relationships with client management
- Problem Solving – the ability to identify systematic cause of problems, develop and evaluate alternative solutions and make recommendations
- Creativity – the ability to ''think out of the box'' and be innovative in approaching solutions to problems
- Business Acumen – Basic understanding of Accounting and Financial Reporting, including accounting rules. Basic understanding of consolidations required.
- Systems Development Methods –experience with all aspects of the development life cycle and required process controls
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (information systems, computer science, business)
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in SAP FI or CO functional configuration
