Dimension & Scope:
This position formulates and defines system scope and objectives for assigned projects and is responsible for program design coding testing debugging and documentation. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitationsoperating timeand form of desired results in addition to preparing detailed specifications from which programs will be written. This position has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Education & Professional Certifications:
Movement into TCP Bachelor’s Degree in related technical discipline And Six years relevant experience Or Master’s Degree in related technical discipline And Four years relevant experience Or Eleven years relevant experience without college degree. Movement within TCP Minimum three years experience in B3 Level TCP position. PMP certification highly desirable.
Candidate Profile:
Experience working with multiple platforms (e.g., MVS, UNIX, NT, PC).Possesses advanced “Performance engineering skills” (i.e., ability to predict and build performance into systems rather than doing it later).Proven project management ability.Proven analytical and communication skills along with the ability to work in a dynamic environment. Customer service and detail oriented.Excellent oral and written communication skills.

==================== Skill Set:
Strong experience in quality ABAP development in R/3 4.6c and/or WAS 6.20 and up. The more experience in Netweaver 2004s (now called 7.00), the better. Preferable will be someone who has done an upgrade from 4.6c to Netweaver 2004s/7.00, including Unicode conversion. Development experience should include BSP programming in WAS 6.20+ and/or Netweaver. Practical experience with Web Dynpro for ABAP (WD4A) will be a plus.
Some technical and/or functional experience with SAP HR (Payroll, Benefits, PA, PD) would be preferable but if very strong in Netweaver front-end programming with BSP and WD4A, the HR experience may not be required. Experience with Section 508 compliance also would be a plus. Experience with large-scale implementations will also be useful.
Will need to pass strong government background checks. The work will be focused around an upgrade from 4.6c to Netweaver 7.0x with a migration of BSP applications from WAS 6.20 and Unicode conversions along the way. A lot of rewriting of BSP applications may be done and some major new and revised functionality will be rolled out. Will need to work well as a team, communicate well in writing and speech, and be self motivated to perform at a high level. The development emphasis will be on good design and quality construction with a very low tolerance for defects.df-tc
