Detailed Position Description:

Seeking a deeply experienced SAP HR BI/BW resource to serve as the primary subject-matter-expert and project manager on an inflight SAP ECC 6.0 deployment. SAP HR expertise in the context of BI/BW is a must. Strong technical and functional knowledge of SAP's delivered capabilities must be evidenced and substantiated.
Project management qualifications include: proven ability to manage scope, complexity, resources, issues and associated timeline and budget. Attention to detail and committment to follow-through on all responsibilities is non-negotiable. Ability to assess the current design and architecture, determine alternatives and develop a recommended path forward with clear articulation of all dependencies.
Requires excellent and proven troubleshooting skills, strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work independently in fast-paced, changing, time-sensitive environment.
Detailed technical and functional knowledge in SAP HR BI/ BW environment and experience determining appropriateness of customization. Experience must include leverage of SAP HR BI to manage, deliver and analyze data from SAP and non-SAP sources.
A long history of proveen experience and knowledge in reporting/analytics including, but not limited to: BEX, Netweaver, Crystal, Business Objects & MSTR
Must exhibit strong troubleshooting of the applications and the underlying hardware and software infrastructure, including operating system level & security.
SAP HR BI/BW global support, system/application performance analysis & process reengineering

Background delivering SAP HR BI/ BW with Fortune 500 companies in more than one industry
Consulting background in SAP HR BI/ BW with large clients - 30+ countries, 12+ languages

Education & Professional Certifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in related technical discipline and five years relevant experience
OR
Master’s Degree in related technical discipline and four years relevant experience
OR
Ten years relevant experience without college degree

Candidate Profile:

This position is best suited for someone possessing SAP HR BI Reporting experience (preferable NW2004s SAP BI ).
At least five years working experience in SAP BI (BW) development environment
Must possess a solid understanding of all facets of SAP HR BI including data acquisition, transformation, loading, data modeling, query definition, web application designer, report designer and performance tuning
ABAP and JavaScript skills required
Must be self-motivated, have a strong team orientation, learn quickly and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
SAP HR BI/BW Developers must have completed at least 3 BW projects with extensive experience in:
Designing and developing standard and custom HR BI/BW solutions, including the entire ETL process, data providers (ODS), info sources, info objects, and info packages.
Development of reports utilizing SAP Query Designer, Analyzer (BEx), Report Designer, and Web Application Designer.

Ability to interact with business users, gather requirements, develop designs, and document functional and technical specifications based on the requirement and the design.df-tc
