Established Energy company is looking for a senior SAP HR analyst. The IS Functional Analysts role is to support the operations of the organization’s SAP System and other associated Business Software Applications. Specific responsibilities include the support of the SAP Human Resource System and Related Applications consisting of the installation, configuration, upgrade, and maintenance of the company’s investments in proprietary SAP technologies.df-tc

Experience/Skills
The IS Functional Analyst will also have responsibility for day-to-day procedures related to the identification, prioritization, and resolution of SAP and related application problem tickets, including the monitoring, tracking, coordination and resolution of SAP support tickets. The IS Functional Analyst will contribute to problem resolution by giving in-person, hands-on support. Recommend systems modifications to reduce user problems.The candidate will be responsible for a single SAP instance to manage Financial, Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, Production Planning, Plant Maintenance, Human Resources and other Enterprise Resource Management functions. The company is using version MySAP ERP 2004, and is exploring plans to implement additional modules such as Business Warehouse, Employee Self Service and other NetWeaver components. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Application Support Responsibilities Assess and develop annual Application Support goals and service levels for area of responsibility in conjunction with the Business Unit and IS Management.Oversee operations and maintenance of SAP functions for area of responsibility, including relevant SAP configuration, ABAP Development and other non-SAP business application development to ensure secure and reliable operations as well as Application Architecture consistency and integrity. Provide functional support and trouble shooting of system configuration for area of responsibility (and other SAP modules as appropriate). Coordinate response to and resolution of SAP Application incidents and performance issues for area of responsibility. Handle level 3 system support calls that cannot be resolved by existing SAP help desk. Monitor operation of critical SAP Process and Services for area of responsibility (such as functional support for financial close, MRP, EDI, interfaces and other critical processes). Review, approve and test software updates.Provide Project Management for related service requests for new reports or enhancements. Conduct research and make recommendations on Business Application products, services, and standards in support of Application Development efforts.Enforce established SAP and other Application Security access controls. Review Security Profile changes to ensure private and sensitive data is protected.
