Position Profile
SAP Help Desk Manager

Position Description
Seeking a SAP, (preferbly MM) consultant to manage the help desk for the
company and provide high quality first level support to our customers.

Experience
Ideally, the candidate should have business experience in the following
areas:

Detailed and strong understanding and experience in at least one of the SAP
modules below:
Financials and Controlling
Sales and Distribution
Materials Management
Production Planning
Detailed and strong understanding and experience in at least one other
sub-module
Candidate with additional module knowledge in other areas is preferred
Implementation experience in the US PCC in the SMB market ("fast track
implementations")
Candidate with additional knowledge and implementation experience in Best
Practices solutions is preferred
Knowledge of SAP Support Portal (SAP Notes, etc.) is preferred
Profile and Responsibility
The candidate would have the following responsibilities:

Manage and support the company's help desk with daily customer message
tracking and resolution
Meeting or beating contractually required response times
Ensuring a high internal call completion rate
Achieving high customer satisfaction results
Working with SAP on reporting and support issues as needed
Reviewing all OSS requests and helpdesk tickets
Assigned requests and tickets to an appropriate resource
Handling requests and tickets personally if appropriate
Handling help desk agreements, work authorizations and engagement letters
with 3rd party vendors
The candidate should have the following profile:

At least 3 to 5 years of SAP business experience
Some travel required
Take responsibility for and ownership of customer problems
Excellent follow-up skills
Good communication skills
Team oriented
