SAP IT Analyst
This position will be assigned support and development duties for the Site Operations functional area.
The successful candidate will play a key role in allowing the Site Operations application group to address all needs of current systems and successfully participate in projects serving this business area. Duties will include technical and business analysis, technical support of production systems, participation or possible lead roles in development/implementation projects and production of documentation required by the system lifecycle guidelines.

Duties may also include monitoring system trouble reports and service requests through the designated IS tracking software, configuration or
administration of software, application testing, report writing, liason with IS vendors, interaction with IS clients, support of software compliance requirements and other system support or development duties as indicated by the position supervisor.

-BA/BS/MA/MS degree and a minimum 5 - 10 years of related experience and demonstrated competency in information technology, MIS or similar field.
-Candidate must have well developed analytical skills as well as sound technical and business judgement.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills are required with ability to communicate clearly to client staff at all levels.
- All applicants should have demonstrated ability to produce structured written documents as required by the Systems Life Cycle at client site (IE: requirements, system design, etc) as well as detailed technical documentation.
-Applicant should have experience with packaged, off-the-shelf vendor applications. (Installation, configuration and operation of system packages will be
more the norm than large-scale development of systems.)

Position requires analyst and technical experience in Windows based , client-server environment with a good technical understanding of:
-Windows desktop (Win 95, NT, 2000) and components (DLL, registry, shortcuts, utilities, file structure)
-Lan/Wan/Network factors effecting applications
-Relational or object oriented databases and complex data structures
-Database queries and report writing
-Web based technologies
-Multi-tier application systems
-Complex off-the-shelf application packages
-Computer based tools for development and documentation.
-Familiarity with common desktop software (IE: MS Word, Excel, Access, Visio, Project, etc.)
-Experience is a plus any of: Oracle, SQL Server, PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Developer or similar toolset, Java, C++, Visual Basic, Network Application Language (NAL), MS Access development, ODBC, Crystal Reports, Paradox, Delphi, and web based technologies.
-Experience in Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry and/or computer systems compliance and validation is a strong plus.
-Candidate for position should be comfortable working as an individual or team member although ability to function in a lead role of small to mid-size projects is a plus.
