Education/Degree: B.S. degree in Information Technology or related area

Years Exp.:
. 6 - 10 years IT experience
. 2 - 4 years SAP experience
. 2 - 4 Management or Large Project Management experience

Required Skills: Client is looking a strong, dynamic and energetic SAP/IT Manager or Large Project Manager with the following skill set:
. Strong technical and functional SAP manufacturing and supply chain knowledge including experience with:
. SAP - MM
. SAP - PP
. SAP - SD (Heavier on Distribution)
. SAP - QM (A Plus)
. SAP - BW (A Plus)
. Strong People Management Skills
. Track record of developing, mentoring, improving team members.
. Strong Project Management skills:
. Strong compliance background with solid understanding of:
. GxP compliance
. IT Validation
. SOX exposure is a plus.
. Understanding of Pharmaceutical business processes and typical industry information systems.
. Business knowledge of manufacturing processes is required.
. Specifically exposure to Finance, R&D, Regulatory and QA processes.
. Strong understanding of computer networks and databases specifically SQL and Oracle databases.

Job Content:
. Manages a team of individuals responsible for representing Finance, Technical Operations, Regulatory, and R&D Functional departments (all business units) for all Software Application systems initiatives: including software selection, implementation, support, upgrades, and retirement.
. Responsible for program and project management for the application systems projects within the designated functional departments.
. Responsible for life-cycle management for all networked IT applications for the department. Ensures that best practices and Novartis methodologies are adhered to in implementing and/or supporting applications.
. Ensures departmental compliance with FDA and SOX regulations. Works closely with Quality Assurance to develop and maintain validation standards, policies, and procedures for all networked GxP/SOX applications. Manages validation effort of all GxP networked system applications.
. Fulfills role of IT Quality Manager (ITQM) per Novartis Methodologies and departmental SOPs.
