Description
Our client seeks an experienced SAP MM/APO functional Anayst to augment their existing SAP Team.

As a member of the team you will work under the direction of the SAP Manager; As the senior. Analyst you will be responsible for configuration of MM, PP, PM and QM modules of SAP and APO as well as supporting related business processes and end-user education/training. The senior. Analyst will work closely with internal customers/managers and other IS team members to provide solutions to business objectives.

Representative Duties:
  • Provide routine support to MM, PP, PM and QM modules and APO users
  • Resolve Service Request tickets in accordance with agreed upon SLAs
  • Respond to inquiries and/or issues
  • Perform ad-hoc queries and requests for data
  • Prepare end-user training and job aids
  • Conduct in-house training for end-users and team members on application specific functionality
  • Work independently to complete enhancements and change orders by developing new and expanding upon existing solutions in the MM, PP, PM and QM modules and APO
  • Lead threads of projects and initiatives to deploy new functionality and/or enhance existing functionality
  • Understand business processes and how underlying configuration and data supports or enables related processes
  • Analyze, refine and document requirements as part of defined projects and initiatives
  • Recommend and configure solutions with a focus on providing business value
  • Test and implement solutions
  • Support and enhance solutions, continually looking for opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Introduce Best Practice and process improvement ideas wherever appropriate
  • Train and mentor junior team members
  • Assist in candidate screening and interviews when new resources are being recruited
  • Actively participate as a member of the GIS team in activities that include communications, status meetings and internal initiatives
  • Participate in relevant user community meetings to ensure alignment between processes & technology and identify potential areas of opportunity
  • Adhere and contribute to GIS processes, procedures and policies, as well as expanding internal GIS knowledge on the processes and functionality used by the company
  • Maintain a current awareness of SAP product developments and trends and determine how they can be used to enhance productivity within the company
  • Client desires contract to hire but will hire on a full time basis.
  • Bachelor degree or MBA
  • Formal SAP training in MM, PP, PM and QM modules of SAP or APO
  • 5-7 years experience in enterprise systems implementation
  • 5 years MM, PP, PM and QM modules and APO hands-on configuration experience (ECC 6.0 experience desired) and support of a live SAP production client
  • At least 3 full cycle SAP implementation project with hands-on project experience designing, testing and implementing MM, PP, PM and QM modules and APO and solutions
  • Understanding of integration points of MM/PP/PM/QM with SD/CS/FI and other modules
  • Ability to perform process decomposition, root cause analysis, gap analysis and blueprint definition
  • Willingness to travel to remote facilities
  • Overtime if projects dictate
