SAP is a core strength of the Group and we look beyond Classic SAP R/3 towards SCM, APO, PLM, SRM, CRM and NetWeaver.We offer you a combination of career growth, economic gratification and control over your destiny that our competitors will find very hard to match.*** Title ***SAP MM/EDI Functional Consultant** Mandatory Skills & Experience ***- Candidate must have good communication skills (both verbal and written)- Candidates must have good coordination skills as interaction with a number of other teams will be required- Candidate should be a good team player- Will be responsible to trigger electronic invoices out of SAP and validate the EDI data before sending the data to the customers for testing.- Will have to be able to validate test results of orders and invoices in SAP against the EDI data and the client's EDI data specifications.- Candidate must have solid functional experience in the SAP SD module and the full Order to Cash process.- Candidate must have a thorough understanding of the data elements on the interfaces listed below.- Candidate must have functional experience with SAP IDOC interfaces- Functional/Business experiences in the following SAP IDOC interfaces are required:- Inbound Customer Orders (EDI 850, 875)- Outbound Customer Invoices (EDI 810, 880)- Candidate must have good communication skills - both verbal and written- Candidates must have good coordination skills, as interaction with a number of other teams will be required- Candidate should be a good team player*** Optional (but Nice to have) Skills & Experience ***- None** Job Description ***Our client is in the midst of a large roll-out of SAP and they require the services of 4 EDI Functional Consultants. Specifically the positions will require the following expertise:- Will be responsible to test EDI interfaces between SAP and 3rd party Warehouses and EDI Interface Support for Customer Orders and Invoices.- Candidate must have solid functional experience in the SAP SD and MM modules and must have a thorough understanding of the data elements on the interfaces listed below.- Candidate must have functional experience with SAP IDOC interfaces- Candidate must have EDI experience or the ability to learn the EDI concepts quickly.- Candidate will have to be able to validate inbound EDI interface posting in SAP and will have to be able to validate outbound EDI interface data against EDI specs before sending it to the warehouse.- Functional/Business experience in the following SAP IDOC interfaces are required.- Shipment Confirmation from 3rd party warehouse (EDI 945)- Advance Ship Notification to 3rd party warehouse (EDI 943)- Goods Receipt from 3rd party warehouse (EDI 944)*** Location ***- CA*** Commencement Date ***- ASAP*** Duration or Expected End Date ***- 6 Months*** Pay Rate ***- Open/competitive/market-rate (Expenses: Paid, subject to industry-standard caps)We always prefer to work with candidates who will accept a W-2 status with us.
