Description
Our client a leading supply-chain software company in Alpharetta has an immediate opening for a SAP Configuration Manager. They offer a fun, fast-paced casual work environment along with an excellent compensation and benefits package. There is very little travel (may not require any) with this position.

Role/Responsibilities:
    Will play a key role in supporting an integrated SAP solution that will be marketed to new and existing customers.
  • Will require hands-on configuration of SAP R/3 (via IMG) and the configuration and implementation of the Production Planning (PP), Material Management (MM) and Quality Management (QM) modules.
  • Will build realistic production data sets for development, testing, and demos, and configure ALE to send/receive IDOCs. Customizing IDOCs and performing very light ABAP work may be required.

    Experience/Skills
    • Five plus years experience in configuring SAP R/3 v4.6 or later in areas such as:
      • Building/maintaining product masters
      • Creating/updating planned/production orders
      • Processing confirmations
      • Backflushing finished good movements
      • Processing quality notifications is required
    • Strong understanding of how SAP R/3 can integrate technically w/shop floor systems using standard IDOCs/RFCs/BAPIs is a plus


      Other desired skills:
      • Five plus years experience in configuring SAP R/3 v4.6 or later in areas such as:
        • Building/maintaining product masters
