Description
ROLE: MM/PP Functional Analyst, responsible for the design and implementation of SAP MM/PP business solutions as well as day-to-day operational support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. SAP Upgrades
2. Review and analysis of industry solutions and tools to support the business.
3. Provide technical direction for specific process and sub-process areas within the MM module.
4. Responsible for requirements gathering, documentation, set-up activities, configuration, testing and user support for the SAP application software.
5. Responsible for understanding how to estimate, configure and leverage SAP functionality to meet core business process needs.
6. Responsible for improvement of processes of purchasing, inventory management, invoice validation, service entry, requirements planning, procurement cycle for stock material, physical inventory, batch management, cross functional pricing, stock replenishment, consumable materials, external services, development of automated procurement process and configuration of sales orders, deliveries, billing, pricing, and rebates.
7. Support end-users.
8. Interface regularly with Business Stakeholders, IT infrastructure & Development teams, to ensure that business requirements are met through proper system configuration.
9. Gather detailed requirements from business users for approved projects and small enhancements to existing projects using detailed analysis techniques.
10. Perform design and development for approved projects and small enhancements to existing projects.
11. Perform program configuration/modification and set-up activities using process implementation techniques.
12. Co-ordinate User Acceptance testing and training with the Business Client.
13. Involved in Business process analysis and problem resolution
14. Provide production system support, computer system validation, project management, and identification of potential business process improvements.
15. Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, peers and management.
16. Effectively manage systems, applications and processes to meet or exceed the accepted client service levels.
17. Support the client???s IT security policies, processes and procedures to comply with mandates including Sarbanes Oxley.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE MINIMUMS

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, engineering, business or
5+ years experience implementing/supporting SAP R/3 in MM/PP area.
Prefer SAP Certification or equivalent training in MM/PP.
Extensive related project management experience.
In-depth experience implementing applications.
Full life-cycle implementation experience.
Experience with MM/PP business process strategies in a manufacturing environment is very strongly desired.
