The SAP PP Sr. Analyst will work closely with other IT and Business personnel to develop and enhance business processes and how they are executed in PolyOne SAP R/3 4.6C environment with major responsibility being the PP functions of SAP. The position will support the PolyOne businesses through SAP support and systems development activities improving business process efficiency and operational excellence. This position is expected to start out with emphasis in the supply chain and planning functions of PP.

This is an experienced level position on the PolyOne Manufacturing Applications Team. This team is responsible for a wide range of applications and information systems that support the supply chain activities of PolyOne Businesses. The core ERP system this team supports is the SAP R/3 application. This team has developed many exciting, user intuitive front ends to the SAP R/3 application that greatly simplify the work of the end user. This team also supports many exciting real time interfaces between SAP and shop floor control systems.

This is an opportunity to work with some of the most respected SAP developers in the industry and have a daily impact on improving PolyOne's business operations. There is an emphasis on constant improvement of business process efficiency and operational excellence. This position emphasizes face-to-face interaction with the customer to build relationships. This position will work for an IT department that has been consistently recognized every year since 1995 in the InformationWeek 500 that identifies the top innovative corporate users of information technology.

Job Requirements:
- Three+ years SAP configuration, process design and post-implementation support in the PP module of SAP
- Deep knowledge (2+ years experience) in one or more sub-modules of the main supported module with preference for the QM module.
- ABAP Programming experience ? ability to read, write and debug code using a structured development methodology
- An understanding of the interface points between the supported SAP module and any interfaced systems
- Experience designing business processes using SAP
- Experience participating in at least one complete life cycle SAP implementation from initial design to post implementation support
- Own and drive technology design and implementation within SAP, including:
- Technical validation of business process designs
- Identification of issues, opportunities and options focused towards building the right set of systems and processes
- Building SAP configuration and ABAP (where appropriate) of the designed business processes
- Drive the design and implement reports, interfaces and data conversions
- Delivery of an integrated, quality technology platform
- Documentation of SAP configuration, design and implementation elements allowing easy support and knowledge transfer
- Responsible for planning and delivery of post implementation support
- Proactively collaborate with fellow IT team members on solving problems with respect, trust, honesty and professionalism building a positive and fun work space
