Extremely effective in the facilitation between business groups and the IT organization to identify synergies that will improve both the business processes and the utilization of the technology while being proactive at gaining insight into current business directives. Work effectively with executive leadership, department staff, and external third parties. Ability to develop and effectively manage a project plan while maintaining a high level of creativity in rapidly adapting to change. Experienced in implementation and roll out of SAP R/3 projects. Experienc with the implementation methodologies such as SAP?s ASAP Methodology. Actively manage the project lifecycle from Organizational and Conceptual Design through Detailed Design, Prototype, Training Development, Cut-Over, Go-live, and Rollout planning. Responsible for managing, and coordinating all design, configuration, and system integration activities, among various project team initiatives and enforcing design and configuration standards. Management of complete Data Migration activities from legacy systems to SAP, for enhancement activities within the SAP environment, and for multiple SAP system consolidations. Experience as senior consultant and project manager with several projects completed in Business Process Redesign efforts. Experience with coordination, planning, and execution of all SAP R/3 system upgrade activities including upgrades to SAP(Enterprise). Solid understanding of the SAP R/3 system architecture with strong overall understanding of the standard delivered functionality and the system capabilities from an enhancement and integration perspective. Senior level Materials Management expertise in all aspects of Procurement and Inventory Management utilizing Best Practices efficiencies in the entire Purchase-To-Pay processes including, automating purchase order creation, electronic goods receipt, automatic electronic payment, and overall procurement optimization. Experience with Enterprise Buyer software and have deep understanding of use of electronic catalogs, market place connections, charge card and standard SAP backend connections for Plant Maintenance, Capital Projects, Stores MRP and standard cost center requisitions and reservations. Experience with investigation of 3rd party solution to solve SAP process issues where the sytem provided functionaliy can does not provide new business process funtionality. This is an excellent contract opportunity for an experienced Project Manager. The objective is to review business processes, develop solutions develop comprehensive project plan for implementationt at the completion of this investigation. Additionally the role of the project manager will be to investigate all possible solutions and review these with members from BASF to reach a decision which provides BASF the best process and eliminates the non-system invoice payment process. The objective deliver a system solution that provides data transparency, provides electronic approvlas and guides users to proper procurement method. The process will use the BASF standard eClass and project verbund structures to categorize the spend. The candidate must have 8+ years of IT experience, 4+ years experience managing projects with project teams of 6 or more members. The project manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of planning, requirements, design, development, testing and delivery of a system solution or front end to SAP that handles all Direct Pay activities done outside of standard requsitioning processes today. Must interact with all various business and functiona units accorss BASF.
