Description
Duties:
openings for PS Business Process Analysts in Annapolis MD, for a long-term
project (4.5 years remaining on current contract) supporting the Navy in its
effort to modernize and standardize Navy business operations. The Navy ERP
project will deploy SAP ECC 5.0 and is slated to deploy this solution to
multiple sites both in and outside the US with a total user community in
excess of 100a,000 once fully deployed.

The PS Business Process Specialist will be a Navy ERP business process
expert, intimately familiar with the Navy ERP solution (SAP ECC 5.0) and its
delivered functionality. This person will assist in general Navy ERP
deployment activities such as identifying data requirements, adapting Navy
site business processes to the Navy ERP solution, delivering
train-the-trainer sessions, and providing over the shoulder support to end
users. Additional duties will include; delivering train-the-trainer
training, assisting with data mapping and data conversion, working with
sites to develop user account management policies, resolving business
process issues, assisting with dress rehearsal and Go-Live activities, and
general customer support.

Required Qualifications:
Must be eligible to obtain a DoD SECRET Security Clearance.

The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience in SAP R/3, 4.6 or
higher. Experience with SAP R/3 ECC 5.0 is preferred. The successful
candidate will have at least one full life cycle implementation under their
belt. Thorough understanding of the functionality within the SAP PS module ,
and the ability to execute all in scope SAP transactions contained in the
assigned business process scenarios is a must. The candidate must also
possess the ability to describe known SAP Gaps and technology issues for
their assigned process area.

The candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to
provide end user support and identify issues as they arise. He/she must have
the ability to communicate with a large and diverse customer base and work
within a team environment, possess good personal, and team skills, and be
detail oriented.

Requires bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or related field) or
equivalent experience, and seven to nine years of related experience.

Required Software:
Potential candidates must have good knowledge of the SAP PS module within
SAP 4.6 or higher. He/she must also have good functional knowledge of
Microsoft Office products the web.
Knowledge of Mercury Tools and InfoPak is a plus.

Desired Qualifications:
Certification in one or more SAP modules is desired but not required.
Cross functional experience in the HR, MM, FI, CO, AM, FM or SD module a
great plus.

Other Considerations:
Local residents within daily commuting distance to Annapolis area preferred.
Traveling consultants will also be considered.
This position offers no relocation assistance.
Travel required for this position is 50 - 75% to Navy site locations in MD,
FL, NJ, PA, and CA.
