BayForce Technology Solutions is seeking an experience SAP Payroll Functional Systems Analyst for a 6-month consulting opportunity in Jacksonville, FL The SAP Functional Systems Analyst is responsible for leading research and analysis efforts to identify business requirements and translate them into effective systems design. This includes researching, designing, creating, documenting, implementing, maintaining and supporting systems relating to payroll.

This individual will design business processes in such a way that they may be effectively modeled and configured within the payroll module. They will utilizes business and systems expertise to identify new or improved business processes and evaluates them for adoption into the production environment. Additionally this individual provides ongoing consultative services to business partners and other areas within Information Services.

Major Responsibilities:

Provides business systems analysis and process redesign expertise within the business areas analysis and redesign of Payroll functions and processes.

Possesses strong knowledge of production operation as well as established priorities to solve business problems. Interacts with business partners to identify project alternatives and makes recommendations. Clearly defines and documents business requirements.

Participates in and/or drives the design and development of technology solutions which meet security network infrastructure/operations and customer support requirements.

Provides significant input to system specifications and design.

Customize / configure Payroll, do schemas and create rules to satisfy business requirements and process design.

Plans, coordinates and participates in system integration and acceptance test efforts.

Develops documentation that effectively feeds training and change management activities.

Conducts post-installation system review.

Participates in the Go/No Go decisions in all project phases.

Proactively builds working relationships with business partners and other I/S personnel to identify opportunities to improve existing business processes or develop new processes.

Communicates project status to Project Manager, Team Manager and or Senior Manager.

Required Skills/Experience:

Expertise in SAP Payroll (3-5 yrs).

Experience with Time Collection to Gross Payroll.

SAP configuration, schema and rules knowledge and skills.

Additional experience with any of the following highly desirable: HR modules / benefits, Time, BSP.

Extensive business and/or systems analysis skills that support applications development.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Ability to work on cross-functional teams and foster the team*s commitment to tasks.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to express complex business concepts in technical terms.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.

Ability to lead and promote change in an environment of rapidly changing technologies and business processes.

Strong presentation skills with the ability to interact with various levels of management.
