. Job Description:Position: SAP Payroll Functional Lead Division: Information Services Group Responsibilities: Implementation planning, fit analysis, configuration, testing, rollout and post-implementation support. Identify functionality gaps. Design, test and implement reports, interfaces, & conversions including but not limited to: Development of interfaces between systems. Preparing test data. Assist and coordinate testing. Coordinate the resolution of issues and defects discovered during testing. Analyze the ability of the global design and related reporting tools to satisfy the users needs. Recommend a course of action for each user-requested item. Work with "power users" to develop training materials for the field and if necessary train them in the new processes. Gather business requirements and define detailed specs. Time Evaluation & Management design & configuration (including employee vacation accrual). Backup HR Functional Lead on HR General Schema configuration. Maintain Payroll configuration. Maintain any tax configuration changes deemed necessary. Project planning and management. Ability to resolve configuration and functional business issues across the various payroll modules in a hands-on manner. Process documentation (narrative and flowchart) to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Implementing change through formal change management. Identifying risks or opportunities to strengthen internal controls for recommendation to management. Developing a process for monitoring and reporting compliance. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Requirements: Knowledge of time management principles and/or procedures. Knowledge of payroll related modules. Skills in organizing resources and establishing priorities. Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and negotiating skills. Strategic business planning and business management skills. Ability to develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures. Knowledge of computerized information systems used in HR or time management applications. Expertise in PC tools including Microsoft Project, Access, Word, and Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work as a team player. Strong problem-solving skills.
