Description
Plan and design methods to improve or enhance existing programs
Assist in analyzing and reviewing schedules, production requirements, and headcount to determine the most cost effective and efficient methods of obtaining necessary resources and meeting production goals
Actively participate in new product transition to production
Maintain and generate support documentation as required
Update job routings and verify the accuracy of drawings and bills of material
Review and analyze designs for best manufacturing approach
Work with design staff to ensure support and feedback on new designs or the need for redesign
Actively participate in meeting production goals
Review schedules and drive for process improvements
Be integral to the repair of customer returns and present trend analysis to Management for resolution
Will have supervisory responsibility for various aspects of production
Keeps calibration to standards
