Description
This PM is responsible for implementing business process changes and technical changes to SAP projects as well as the integration between other Work Streams/Business Units. This request is for a strong Project Manger to work with the business leads/focal points responsible for successful transition by the business to the updated business processes and system.
Successful management of the effort to complete the definition of the business process and system changes and activities to introduce those changes to be business is critical to Business Readiness. This includes the smooth integration with Sales, Finance, and Procurement processes. Skills and experience in managing Business Process Redesign projects and managing activities associated with Organizational Change Management is critical. The new business processes in scope for this assignment may be partially enabled by technology within those projects.
The selected Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring all vendors apply our client's Project Management discipline through the component processes of project initiation, planning, execution, control, and closing for the set of activities required to implement changed business processes. This Project Manager will partner with the vendors project team responsible for implementation. Initial responsibilities will be to organize the work within scope and develop a plan to ensure full end to end coverage and smooth integration between processes. Concurrent with the planning will be the requirement to capture the risks to the business for each change and to support the Business Leads/Focal Points as they define the business process changes & mitigations for those risks.
