Description

We are currently seeking to fill an SAP SD Analyst position for our client in Highland Park, IL. We invite you to review the position requirements below and apply today if your skills match our need.

Type: Contract-to-hire opportunity

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for configuration and system expertise for a specific business function(s).
- Provide level 3 support of SAP components.
- Assist in business and IT training.
- Identify opportunities for business process improvement and research enabling technologies based on customer requirements.
- Manage small to mid-size projects and enhancements.
- Ally with other IT domain areas to remain apprised of project status and inform business management of progress, conversely, keep IT's domain management aware of business community issues and resolve conflicts or escalate as appropriate.
- Support development of cross-line business solutions that combine knowledge of particular business processes and issues, general technological options, and process facilitation techniques.
- Ensuring their respective areas have the appropriate level of communication regarding IT matters and setting expectations
- Responsible for systems configuration, maintenance and training.
- Support user acceptance testing by validating testing scenarios and ensuring all required testing is completed prior to production migration.
- Will perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Business or Information Systems required
- Three to five years in either of the following:
1. IT experience in business systems analysis in medium to large-scale environments.
2. Business experience that includes working closely with IT in the development and implementation of medium to large-scale integrated systems.
3. Previous experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement involving broad-based information systems and utilizing tools and techniques to effect business change.
4. Experience with new computing architectures and implementation of networked computing.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience in working in teams.
- Detailed knowledge of the assigned business area's products and processes.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all management levels.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills and the ability to effectively express complex technical concepts.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
