BearingPoint GTS is currently searching for an experienced SAP SD Analyst.

Preference will be given to candidates local to our Silicon Valley, CA office.

The SAP Senior Systems Analyst is responsible for designing SAP solutions to meet the demands of the business.
Job responsibilities are as follows:
· Works with the user community to identify their requirements, design enhancements and functionality to help meet user requirements.
· Performs configuration work as needed to support new and existing functionality.
· Serves as functional integration owner for multiple process areas
· Prepares functionality specifications and delivers to ABAP developers.
· Collaborates with the ABAP developers and the quality assurance team to develop and test significant new functionality and enhancements.
· Performs integration testing as necessary to insure that new functionality or enhancements do not adversely affect existing functionality.
· Insures knowledge transfer to functional analysts as necessary to increase their understanding and utilization of the SAP systems and applications.
· Utilizes ASAP methodology and tasks required during each phase of the implementation.
· Follows all design work and integration testing protocols, change control procedures, uses standards, procedures, and practices in performing required work

Requirements:
· 5 to 10 years previous work experience in finance, accounting, or inventory management, manufacturing, warehouse environment in a large sized company
· Possesses 3 -7 years of SAP experience with established proficiency in multiple SAP application areas (i.e. FI, CO, MM, PM, WM)
· Participated in 3-5 full project lifecycle implementations using ASAP methodology
· Experience with Variant configurator
· Solid understanding of Inter-company business practices
· Solid knowledge of Pricing procedures
· Understanding of common customer service business practices in Europe and Asia are desired
· Working knowledge of SAP Service Management concepts

Candidates must have the ability to accommodate a Monday-Friday travel schedule.
