Description
We require Functional SAP Consultant to help our semiconductor client's project.

Scope of work and required skills:
1. Work with team members to support SAP Sales & Shipping Applications on a variety of computing platforms (MVS, Windows/NT, Unix) and a wide array technologies (JAVA, SAP, Perl, VB, Cobol, Purchased Applications.)
2. Systems supported are SAP CHM, SAP Sales & Distribution, SAP SCEM, ShareMaker, WebBasis, PDB, INV.
3. Perform system improvements and enhancements to support the business needs.
4. Work may include software development, project management, and analyst skills.
5. Help to accomplish overall organization priorities - effective backlog management, resource management, and transfer of new systems into a run/maintain environment.
6. It is expected that the person will gain knowledge and support several systems
7. Must be self-motivated and able to provide technical leadership for execution of business application maintenance and/or enhancments.
8. Consultant is expected to multi-task and work effeciently.
9. Must be able to develop comprehensive, realistic, and effective plans
10. Candidate will be able to learn a variety of software skills and business process knowledge.
11. Also will work on continuous improvement initiatives in high visibility areas by making process, software, and quality improvements.
12. Supporting a world-wide customer base with 24 hour oncall support.
13. Understanding the relationship of how all the systems integrate.
14. Candidate will need to understand when and how to propose a system solution versus a non-system solution to meet business needs
15. We could put to use most technical skills - Cobol/FOCUS on the mainframe, Oracle, PL SQL, Web/Unix, ABAP, Visual Basic and purchased solutions, custom Web applications, and SAP applications
16. Excellent interpersonal, teamimg, and communiction skills with the ability to work across multiple levels are required.
17. The candidate will interface with IT Customers and other organizations such as data base administrators, Unix administrators, applications support groups, development project teams, and SAP Basis administrators, and world-wide customers.
18. Ability to work independently is important - but being able to effectively interact with a team is more critical.
19. Design, develop, troubleshoot and maintain business applications. Provide appropriate docuementation for all deliverables
20. The variety of systems and software platforms supported will allow an individual to continue to grow technically.
21. There is also insight into many different business processes needed to help support revenue earnings.
22. New tools and technologies are continually added to the team, so there will be continuous challenges.
23. Prefer experienced developer/analyst
