Your new challenge:

The Lead SAP Basis Administrator will be responsible for the coordination and execution of all key SAP technology tasks in the course of a major global SAP initiative. This is a unique opportunity to make a name for yourself with a new SAP customer and build your career in this exciting global company.


The key responsibilities and tasks are:


SAP Basis Administration - Provide expert level Basis Admin support (eg EEC 6.0, Solution Manager, Portal, BW, CRM, SCM, etc.). Manage and implement system patches, fixes, and upgrades. Able to perform system analysis and trouble shooting. Responsible for the effective management and control of the system landscape, ensuring the overall integrity of the systems environment.


Project Support - Provide emerging technology expertise and project implementation support. Must have keen understanding of best practice project lifecycle methodology. Expected to stay abreast and current with ever changing technological trends and advancements.


Operations Management - Provide management and expertise in operational support systems and processes (eg change control, problem mgmt, etc.). Have keen understanding of capacity management, performance tuning, storage management, etc.


Process improvement - Expected to assist the team in knowledge capture and knowledge improvement activities. Responsible for ensuring the continued update of necessary systems support documentation and the automation of routine or repeatable tasks. Expected to provide suggestions and recommendations for continued process improvement.





Required Skills:
What we ask for:


The following skills and experiences are deemed necessary for this position:


5-7 years of SAP Basis Administration in large, complex SAP system landscapes encompassing SAP Netweaver 2004, SAP Solution Manager 4.0, SAP Business Warehouse 7.0, SAP CRM, SAP SCM (including APO), SAP ECC and SAP Enterprise Portals.
Strong time management, inter-personal and communication skills.
Project Management experience.
Experience implementing enterprise systems in the CPG or Retail Industry.
BS Computer Science or related field.
