Description
Provide SAP configuration and ad hoc/custom reporting capabilities to the business units for SAP Purchasing and Inventory Control modules. Working with SAP end users and process owners to understand ongoing process requirements (changes, modifications, improvements).Functionally:1. Develop solutions through process changes and/or configuration changes to meet ongoing end user requirements. Implement configuration changes as required. Prepare specifications for approved changes to be performed by SAP ABAP Programmers.2. Work with other SAP support functional team members to coordinate integration points between SAP modules to ensure overall process coordination. Ensure interface data integrity. Work with ABAP team as required.3. Provide day-to-day phone/on-site support, support the help desk. Provide timely and accurate support to the functional business areas. 4. Maintain and update documentation including Business Process Procedures (BPPs), reference materials, training materials. Provide on-going end user training and end user support as required.5. Change request/transport review and approval.6. Service Pack/Upgrade review and test for all clients, OSS support.7. Investigate the use of available SAP functionality not currently being utilized.8. Security access definition, review, test and approval.9. Responsibilities specific for Supply Chain are: * *Modification of plants, plant hierarchies and plant roll-ups. * *Training users in the material movement, MRP, reservation for inventory/warehouse related processes. * *EDI setup and maintenance. * *Management of iXOS (imaging) and Merkur (fax) functionality. * *Assist with workflow design and implementation.

Requirements:

This position requires a minimum 3 years Information Technology (or SAP support) experience.* A broad knowledge of the principles, practices, and procedures of Supply Chain (materials management) is required. Ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of SAP Support experience.* Detailed cross module SAP integration knowledge (eg. FI/CO, HR, MM) is preferred.SHOULD HAVE:* Ability to perform SAP configuration within the inventory and purchasing modules.* Above average knowledge of SAP Supply Chain functionality.* Above average knowledge of functional business processes.* Ability to work with others to design effective process/system solutions.
