OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

This position will be responsible for the analysis, programming, testing, documentation and support of WOS IT systems.
The Support Analyst will work closely with others involved in supporting and implementing business applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•
Work with business analysts in identification and clarification of programming
objectives.
•
Confers with representatives of user companies & departments and business partners to identify desired functionality, propose modifications or other externally available solutions.
•
Provide guidance in how to handle business processes in SAP
•
Perform systems analysis
•
Write requirement and design specifications
•
Proactively identify where system improvements can increase efficiency and user
•
Performs unit testing of all code generated.
•
Assists in quality assurance, user and system load testing.
•
Participates in departmental reviews of all system design and code.
•
Assists in trouble-shooting, debugging and inquiries related to system functionality and performance.
•
Possess an understanding of WOS ERP configuration options and implications.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

•
May be involved in system demonstrations.
•
Assists in resolving operational issues and may perform other assignments as needed.
•
Other duties as assigned by company management.
•
Seek educational opportunities to become expert in application development
•
May be called upon to analyse and/or recommend 3rd party packages or tools to provide additional functionality not available in core ERP.


KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

•
Minimum experience required—1 year programming experience using ABAP programming language.
•
Possess effective written and oral communication skills, close attention to detail, and reason clearly and logically with symbolic information.
•
Fundamental understanding of procedures and terminology of structured and object oriented programming languages, and display the ability to assume responsibility for increasingly complex assignments.
