Required:
Bachelor Degree in computer science or engineering. Will consider related degree with equivalent experience.
At least two years experience in software development with emphasis on quality assurance methodologies and testing.
Strong understanding of statistical tools and techniques.
Demonstrate understanding of Six Sigma concepts.
Basic understanding of software development concepts and quality control methodologies.
Must possess excellent communication, organizational, verbal and written skills.
Excellent problem solving and problem management skills.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (proficient in Access), database development & SAS software.
Technically proficient with network, PC, and platform operating systems, including Windows 2003.
Analytical/quantitative background either through education or practical business experience.

General Summary: Responsible for planning, coordinating and administering computerized databases, including data base definition, structure, documentation, long range requirements and protection with respect to the SAS Data Warehouse. This person must be able to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data in SAS master files and various other support tools. Establishes and maintains security and integrity controls. Act as in-house Six Sigma expert. Provide direct statistical assistance for projects.

Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment as well as compliance with all safety & health standards.
Act as a technical expert and resource for SAS processes. Establishes and maintains the SAS data warehouse. Ensuring that data quality & integrity are maintained.
Responsible for development, upgrades, maintenance and training within the SAS system.
Responsible for development of SAS data analysis skills for all users.
Analyze SAS tables for completeness and accuracy of data.
Maintains an up to date knowledge of technical enhancements and recommends changes to the system.
Provide technical support for conversion and filtering of documents.
Contact for report generation requirements using SAS data. Trains personnel on use of routine reporting capability.
Develops and deploys routine applications or views as required for various SAS users.
Determine and develop queries/views for business users.
Develop and maintain SAS databases relating to research data including design of experiments, trend analysis and analytical evaluations.
Design and implement audit controls in conjunction with IT personnel and outside contractors, as required, to ensure proper transfer of data to the SAW Data Warehouse.
Develop mechanisms to audit the success/failure of daily loads and correct any related errors.
Solicit support from IT as needed.
Responsible for identifying business needs and working with personnel to keep abreast of all initiatives that would require analysis of data.
Develop long-term strategic goals for warehousing in conjunction with data users, department managers, clients and other key stakeholders.
Perform data warehousing performance tuning.
Design and implement processes and procedures to insure the availability of data and applications to deliver information to business users.
Develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing processes for modifications to data systems.
Provide data collection and statistical analysis support.
Effectively scope and define a problem and goal.
Assist in determining project benefit.
