We have an immediate need for a SAS Business Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
Support Information Insights team with data extraction, manipulation and analysis from proprietary data warehouse. Responsibilities include timely and efficiently delivering data or analysis and look to improve existing processes by enhancing code.

Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a strong results-driven individual with excellent analytical skills and a deep understanding of the direct marketing industry. Specifically, we are seeking:
- Some/light experience with SAS application program development
- A subset of technical skills that includes Mainframe, Distributed and Relational Databases
- Effective communications skills, both written and verbal, will be essential to allow the candidate to interact with numerous team members to support/guide users in SAS application supporting direct mail campaigns
- Ability to comprehend business needs and translate them into programming requirements that support campaign solutions
- Must possess ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast paced environment, and progress work in parallel.
- Must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, a team player, well-developed conceptual, analytical, strategic thinking and problem solving skills, and strong work ethic a must.
Candidate MUST possess strong communication skills combined with strong Analytical Skills as candidate will be required to interface with users and end clients thus comprehension and soft skills are a KEY factor to this position. Candidate should also have some programming background as well (doesnt need to be strong in this)
Good thinking skills - thinks outside the box.
Please note: This is a 12 month+ W2 hourly contract position.
