Genesis10 is seeking a SAS Programmer/Analyst in Madison for a 4-6 month contract.

Experience/Skills
Our client is looking for a SAS Programmer which will assume primary responsibility for analyzing results and performance trends for direct marketing campaigns geared towards their credit union members.


Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Statistics and a minimum of 3 years experience in marketing analytics, research or quantitative analysis in either consumer or B2B direct marketing of financial services.

Strong analytic skills including statistical significance and data mining techniques.

Proficient in working with analytic and reporting tools such as Access, SAS / SPSS and Excel and proficient working with relational databases.

Competent knowledge of SQL =E2=80=93 including joins, subselects, queries

Proven teamwork and interpretive skills to articulate a story and describe not only the depth, genesis, and evolution of data but the application of that data to a future situation or opportunity.

Experience working with large databases

Experience with improving the efficiency of SAS programs

Experience with the entire SDLC including gathering requirements

Working with SAS Datasets (dataset options, merging 2 datasets) , SAS Trace, SAS DBKEY, SAS logs

Experience linking SAS code from other sources
