Description
Developer needed with a background in Java and SAS.
SAS programming experience is required (including Base SAS (Data steps, Proc SQL, Proc Summary and SAS Macros).
Java and JSP development experience is required.
Strong data manipulation and data management skills are required. Should be able to visualize and manipulate data to a point where it can be represented in a cube, or be presented in a way that is useful to the client.
Ability to understand design specifications and project requirements and work with clients and project managers to build a product that meets those requirements.
Familiarity with Unix and shell scripts.
Experience in the OLAP environment desired but not required (SAS version 8 MDDBs (multi-dimensional databases) and/or OLAP in SAS Enterprise BI is preferred).
Work with clients and build business intelligence tools that will help them understand their data. Determine project requirements from a business perspective, prepare data for analysis, create reports, and summarize findings and present results using OLAP.

Migrate data to a web portal for client access, work with OLAP and Business Intelligence.
