Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for a SAS Programmer/Database Developer on a contract opportunity with our leading internationally recognized client company in Eden Prairie.

Please Note: This position will not allow for relocation, Visa sponsorship or transfer.
In this position candidates will be responsible to Manage and coordinate cross-functional team including off-shore analysts, third-party providers (eg Teradata) to leverage analytical and technical expertise in mining POS, loyalty card, and market share data.

Responsibilities will include:

Prior experience with retail analytics, customer analytics, merchandising analytics, segmentation, campaign management and multi-channel CRM desired
Ability to manage and personally execute advanced statistical processes such as Test and Control, Analysis of Variance and Multivariate Regression.
Experience with data analytics and manipulation tools such as SQL and SAS for predictive modeling.
Ability to solve complex problems using analytical frameworks including ability to implement marketing measurement practices to produce valid ROI, trending and predictive analysis.
Prior experience with large relational databases.
Possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written with all levels of management.
Track record on developing new information systems, databases and measurements.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and develop creative, innovative solutions to business challenges.
Experience in working with syndicated data and syndicated data providers.
Experience in developing processes, tools and scorecards.
Leadership skills to lead cross functional teams, division marketing teams and vendor experts
Demonstrated capability to manage large-scale projects.
Demonstrated ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationships. Expertise leading project groups and maintaining client relations, including business strategy, customer experience, and technology.
Strong communication and project management skills, proactive, attention to details.
Excellent PC and related spreadsheet application skills.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, statistics or other quantitative fields. Advanced degree strongly preferred
5-7 years related experience required, 10 ideal.
