Job Summary:

1. Member of Client's Corporate IT Supply Chain Team; reporting to the Manager of IT Supply Chain (who reports to Director Business Applications)
2. This position will focus on support; improvement and troubleshooting of SAS related databases and programming. Requires close coordination with Process Engineering and Quality Control to customize individual programs for specific analysis

Responsibilities:

1. Primary responsibilities include a combination of activities of investigation, development or configuration of purchased packaged-software, maintenance, improvement and support of the business application solutions for internal business functions, which are based on requirements and needs of such client base.
2. Technologies utilized include Base SAS (versions 8, 9), SAS QC, SAS Graph, and SAS Stat, SAS AF, SAS FSP, SAS AppDev Studio, SAS IntrNet and SAS Integration Technologies


Experience/Skills
Base SAS (versions 8, 9), SAS QC, SAS Graph, and SAS Stat, SAS AF, SAS FSP, SAS AppDev Studio, SAS IntrNet and SAS Integration Technologies, Unix Script Language, "C" programming, Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment with business knowledge in Quality Control processes
1. BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent business function related curriculum
2. Minimum of 4-5 years design and development experience with software solutions for complex business environments including SAS tools, Unix Script Language and "C" programming to implement business rules for data manipulation and report generation
3. Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment with business knowledge in Quality Control processes
4. Knowledge of purchased package applications architecture, relational database structure, and integration methodologies
5. Experience with creation of technical documentation for projects including conceptual, logical and physical design
6. Strong testing / quality assurance discipline
7. Candidates must have excellent communication skills both orally and in writing and must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Desired/Plus Skills:

1. Experience with SAS version 9 products
2. Experience developing web based Java/JSP applications, particularly those which are linked to RDBS like MS SQL or other
3. Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Visio and Project
4. An APICS or PMI certification is a plus.
