We have an immediate need for a SAS Programmer


Responsibilities:
This position will specifically support the B2B Global Payments "Spend Analytics" process, which analyzes large global clients' accounts payable (AP) data in order to deepen client relationships by identifying mutually beneficial opportunities for them to move B2B spend to one or more payment solutions (Purchasing Card, Buy Initiated Payment, V-Payment, etc.).

Required Qualifications:
. Experience in programming and business analysis
. 2+ year SAS (Base, MACRO, STAT) programming experience in UNIX and/or PC environment (experience working with multiple, large datasets is a plus)
. Extensive experience using Excel and Access for data manipulation and analysis
. Strong analytical skills, problem solving skills and attention to detail
. Critical thinker who exhibits good judgment and intuition (based on experience), knowing when to question outcomes or ask questions based on business/common sense
. Intellectually curious with a desire to learn and understand the business
. Strong communication skills with a proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
. Self-starter with a proven track record of driving results
. Ability to deliver high visibility output under tight timelines
. Ability to navigate through a Matrix environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously without close supervision.
. Knowledge of commercial card products, accounts payable and procurement is a plus



Additional Responsibilities:
Develops program specifications/detail design documents, Codes, tests and debugs applications programs. Participates in the application design of systems, including use of analytical techniques. Works under the direction of a team leader, senior technical leader or analyst. Develops prototypes from functional specifications. Designs application sub-systems and small systems. Develops program specifications/detail design documents. Has participated in the development of functional specifications. Codes, tests, and debugs complex application programs. Assists users in testing, training, and preparation for operations. Demonstrates an understanding of object-oriented development tools and techniques, has worked on multiple platforms and/or with multiple methodologies.
