Title: SAS Programmer

Dept: Direct Marketing

As a SAS Programmer, you will support direct marketing staff by creating, extracting and manipulating information and systems used for model development and strategic analyses. A primary responsibility of this position is leading business client interviews to assess the business need, and to react with a project plan and resource estimate. Develop technical specifications, code, test, and implement new, complex SAS program logic, and modify existing programs to extract data from large databases and prepare data for analysis. Indentify, design and implement changes that improve efficiency and reliability of SAS programs or systems and provide design and programming support in the development of new business processes.

Successful candidates will have 3+ years of programming experience with demonstrated ability in the following areas:

Advanced SAS and SQL programming experience

Experience with UNIX, IBM Mainframe

Experience working with large databases

Bachelors or Associate degree in business or other quantitative discipline (mathematics, statistics), or equivalent work experience.

Direct Marketing Experience Preferred.
