Description:
The Software Engineer in BI Support is responsible for production support of SAS ETL processes and reporting. The person in this role will provide excellent customer service to project teams and to business partners.

To be successful in this role, one must be able to work effectively in a fluid, fast-paced environment. This role requires good communication skills, both with team members and business contacts. In addition, the successful Software Engineer must be able to work with minimal supervision on multiple concurrent assignments.

Responsibilities :
- Participate in the reviews of new or changing SAS programs prior to deploying code to production
- Deploy code to production
- Maintain a customer centric focus: respond quickly and effectively to production issues and take responsibility for seeing those issues through to resolution. Includes updating management on progress and timeframes.
- Problem solve in areas of report content, availability, data access, data transfer, data integrity and other related issues while keeping management informed as appropriate
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the SAS ETL overnight and reporting processes
- Problem solve and troubleshoot production issues with minimal supervision
- Share knowledge by effectively documenting work
- On-call rotation duties for after-hours production support is required

Qualifications:
- 4 years minimum SAS programming experience. Must have 2 years minimum SAS programming in an Oracle/Unix environment. Familiarity with SAS ODS, SAS IntrNet, Proc SQL, Proc Report and SAS Macro are preferred.
- 2 years minimum experience working with large volumes of data with proven ability to effectively analyze raw data.
- Working knowledge of the Internet, HTML, TCP/IP, and electronic commerce on the web. Experience with Website usage, terminology, and click stream analysis a plus.
- Ability to work on multiple concurrent assignments effectively
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- 3-6 years experience in relevant technologies
