Description
Genesis10 is seeking an experienced Systems Programming Lead for a 9 month contract position in the Pasadena, CA area. This project is scheduled to begin 10/1/2004.

**Note...W2 only; no 3rd parties..US Citizens/Green Card Holders only.
**Candidates residing within commuting distance are STRONGLY preferred.

Provides project management, consulting, analytic and programming support for a broad array of functional work and strategic and operational issues.
Contributes to department and organizational processes around decision support and information strategy.
Manages multiple large and complex processes, databases and projects.
Under general supervision, assists the organization in making strategic data-related decisions by analyzing, manipulating, tracking, and internally managing and reporting data.
Serves as technical advisor/coach to staff on system issues.
This position takes an active leadership role as both as a consultant and as a high-level programmer.
May supervise staff including analysts and consultants.df-tc

Experience/Skills
* Masters degree in computer science, economics, finance, health care administration, public health administration, statistics, mathematics, operations research, or related field required, or equivalent Bachelors degree and work experience in lieu of a Masters degree.
*Typically five or more years of related analytical consulting experience, healthcare experience preferred. Broad familiarity with medical practices, especially population management and process and outcomes measurement.
*Project management experience strongly preferred.
*Five or more years programming required. Experience with SQL. SAS experience preferred.
*Experience with analytical manipulation and interpretation of large databases required.
*Experience with MVS/TSO operating systems required. Knowledge of JCL strongly preferred.
*Microsoft Office skills required.
