SDLC Expert Analyst
6+ months consulting with possible follow-on
Washington, D.C.

xScion Solutions is an Information Technology professional services firm supporting leading commercial clients in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. We are currently supporting a large healthcare insurance company with some of their key hiring needs and are looking for 2 Expert SDLC Analysts.

Reaching out to all SMEs, team members and stakeholders, this resource will analyze and document complex systems to determine process improvements at all stages of the SDLC lifecycle that are extensive, repeatable, efficient to maintain, while additionally identify any improvements that may be good automation candidates. There will also be a special focus on the testing area.

Tasks
1. Interview and interact with SME's, team members and stakeholders from all phases of the SDLC lifecycle to analyze and document complex systems.
2. Conduct gap analysis to determine process improvements at all stages of the SDLC lifecycle.
3. Conduct risk analysis and ranking and develop risk mitigation plans for any process improvements identified.
4. Analyze existing gap analysis document from 2007 to determine if improvements work within current workflow structure.
5. Recommend improvements to workflow structure if needed.
6. Create all necessary documents and communicate to the team in support of the project.

1. Advanced knowledge of SDLC processes and methodology.
2. Prior Experience with current SDLC methodologies and trends.
3. Prior experience working in environments changing from one SDLC methodology (Agile, Waterfall, Vmodel) to another or adopting a new methodology for the first time.
4. Comprehensive understanding of quality control protocols, methodologies, and practices.
5. Experience implementing processes and procedures to support rapid development
6. Experience with requirements traceability

Additional Specific Skill sets Sought
1. Experience with the automation of Regression Testing
2. Experience with SQA
3. Experience with making exit/entrance criteria recommendations in a development lifecycle.df-tc
