SEC Policy Analyst - 5553AA

SEC Policy Analyst.

Essential functions and duties:

• This position will be responsible for creating segment reporting for SEC filings as well as maintaining the data sources for SEC Reporting.

Our ideal candidate will have a background similar to the following:

• Master's degree (MBA and/or CPA preferred) in accounting, finance, business administration or other job-related discipline desirable.
• Three to Five years of progressively responsible experience in Financial Reporting.
• Minimum of Two years of public accounting.
• Two years of experience in SEC reporting required.
• Insurance industry experience required (Life or P&C)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Strong Financial reporting principles and SEC regulatory requirements

Experience required:

This position will be responsible for staying abreast of all regulatory requirements from the multitude of accounting regulatory bodies (SEC, FASB, IASB, NAIC, PCAOB, etc.)
