IT SECURITY AND COMPLIANCE ANALYST



Location:CA-Pleasanton



Duration: 6 months

Must have experience with HIPPA, SOX.


This individual "ABSOLUTELY MUST BE" an expert "power-user" with Visio, Excel and Word! (they will need to produce samples of their work). They will be involved in documenting processes and procedures, creating forms, report templates, graphs, charts, diagrams and workflows as well as writing training materials for users. They must have significant experience with Risk Assesmnet, mitigation, governance and acceptance. They will also create a Threat Catalog.

Individuals must be process experts and recognize flaws in the process and know how to improve them.



The Security Risk Analyst supports the security risk management program, including standards development. In addition, the Security Risk Analyst will help establish and maintain processes and procedures for establishing, collecting, analyzing and reporting of security risk metrics .



RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify requirements and design form templates for risk assessments, risk mitigation, and risk acceptance.
Document processes for risk assessments, risk mitigation, risk acceptance, and risk governance.
Document various standards, guidelines and procedures to support risk management program.
Develop, design and operationalize reporting templates, process and procedures.
Develop training content to support new processes and procedures.
Identify opportunities for increasing business efficiency through improved manual and automated process systems.
Develop the analysis and definition of efficient, cost effective solutions that support client business processes and functional requirements.
Evaluate existing applications that could address client requirements and develops recommendations where appropriate.
Evaluate alternative operational efficiencies.
Plan, coordinate and conduct the analysis of client business processes and functional requirements and the preparation of appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the information.df-tc
