Need
Parsons is seeking a Senior IT Specialist to work with team in the creation and maintenance of a database and application. Responsibilities include:

Develop, modify and use data management systems to organize and manipulate data related to military housing condition assessment.

Perform as integral part of multidisciplinary team.

Collaborate with data management system users to identify software requirements.

Analyzes and evaluates existing and proposed systems. Prepares charts and diagrams to assist in problem analysis.

Suggest new or modified systems and related procedures in accordance with user specifications. Prepares program specifications, develops coding logic flowcharts, and reviews recommended solution with user.

Consult with immediate supervisor or higher-level IT Specialist on possible solutions for more complex assignments.

Develop user guidance materials.

Provide technical guidance to lower-level IT personnel assigned to project

Keep abreast of current and newly-developing technologies.

Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Travel to collect data and populate data management systems.



Requirements
? 3 - 5 + years, programming with MS Access and other database packages
? High level understanding of relational database architecture, systems development, and application testing required
? Proficiency in report creation in MS Access as well as exporting and formatting data as Excel report.
? Familiarity with Windows CE
? Programming skills in VB, an ASP.NET is a plus
? Experience with MS SQL Server and/or Oracle is a plus
? X Degree
? Proof of US citizenship or is required
