THIS POSITION LOCATION IS FLEXIBLE WITHIN U.S.

Based in Lake Forest, Calif., the Wonderware and ArchestrA business units have regional sales and technical support offices throughout North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia to provide support to its network of more than 160 distributor offices.

We have an immediate requirement for an ArchestrA Promoter/Application Architect in our Lake Forest, CA headquarters office.

The successful candidate for this position will have expertise in ArchestrA technology and Wonderware FactorySuite and an understanding of how to apply the ArchestrA technology in solutions and products, developing system architecture for ArchestrA based products and solutions. The ideal candidate leverages experience base with client managers and project teams, acts as Application Architect on ArchestrA technology implementation strategy planning. The role is involved with supporting Strategic Sales account managers working with customers, OEMs, SIâ??s and other Invensys companies to guide the best implementation of the ArchestrA technology. The position will follow this implementation providing technical guidance and support ensuring successful implementation. The role will require working with Product Management and Development to feedback real world requirements and help validate functionality.

The ideal candidate has high level of hands-on experience working with field based automation applications, including Supervisory, SCADA, Historian and MES applications. The candidate that is hired will have the ability to work independently in a â??virtualâ?? team, managing time effectively. The role requires the ability to listen, capture and comprehend customer requirements so as to offer effectively solutions or accurately feedback to Product Management.
The successful candidate must be able to communicate ideas effectively; and understand the trends in the market place, being able to understand how to prioritize requirements vs delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS: 14+ years experience with a strong background in applying industrial automation software systems. 10+ years of experience managing a technical product from concept to customer satisfaction; experience with industrial automation software development and solutions.

A serious advantage will be experience implementing industrial automation systems, either DCS, SCADA, PLC applications, having worked with a range of PLCs on the market and Supervisory systems.
