The Senior Data Analyst reports to the Global Customer Service Manager and is responsible to identify, investigate and report on events or series of events impacting the customer service organization. Responsible for routine and complex data analysis to generate both standard and ad-hoc statistical reports and to design methods for data collection, data storage and integrity, and data interpretation. These functions are for the purpose of detection and proactive response to subtle changes in Call Center performance metrics such as call volume, mean-time-to failure, ticket resolution times, etc.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide statistical analysis for internal reporting of customer service performance. Highlight specific areas of concern in statistic changes and recommend interventions to the Management Team.
Identify trending part failures, call volume, repetitive problems, downtime, etc and recommend procedural improvements.
Provide external statistical reporting for major FTI clients (ATF, South Africa) in regards to service performance and the application of statistics to the Sub-license agreements and specifically the downtime performance and penalties.
Develop and maintain databases where appropriate as tolls to assist in the development of key reporting metrics (such as defective parts, repeat failures, machine downtime, staffing of the call center based on peak call volumes, etc).
Investigate, document, and develop specifications for improvement to existing data systems such as HEAT (ITSM), CHAMP, and GCS Internal databases to improve the data content, and to match the operational procedures used by GCS.
Develop queries/reports on an ad-hoc basis for all FTI departments to assist department managers with decision-making.
Develop and deliver presentations to Senior Management on a wide variety of data supported topics.
Assist GCSM with any special projects as they arise.
Act as team lead when assigned by GCSM during special projects.
Assist with the implementation of major projects (such as ITSM).

Requirements:

Qualifications and experience
Associate s degree required, BA preferred Statistics, Business Strategy, Business Management or related field
5 years minimum with expertise in database development, programming, statistical analysis, or data analysis; previous relevant experience will be accepted in lieu of education
Must be very analytical in nature
Must possess superior communication skills to present facts/data to all levels of Management and staff
Must be concise
Must take ownership of projects, and be willing to stand behind analysis reported as facts
Must possess the ability to organize data to properly present facts
Must possess very high knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access, MS Word, MS Project, Visio, Cdf-tc
