experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to support the
Towel Manufacturing Team in Loudon, Tennessee.

Position Summary:

Electrical Engineers at Kimberly-Clark initiate design,
develop, optimize and problem solve manufacturing processes
in a manner that meets safety and performance expectations.
The Electrical Engineer for this role will provide leadership and creativity in exploration, design, development, optimization and implementation of major processes and systems in tissue manufacturing and converting. Candidates must have expertise across multiple technologies in both staff and plant environments and will have a demonstrated ability to effectively provide work direction to a broad range of team members. The incumbent reports to the Operations Team Leader and receives direction in the form of broad assignment
objectives. Key customers include: Mill Manager, Manufacturing Director, and Mill Operations Teams.

Responsibilities:
1) Lead single or multiple product or process improvement
projects with a financial scope of up to $30 million from
conception through commercialization.
2) Provide functional leadership and creativity in the
initiation of design, development and optimization of Towel converting and manufacturing equipment and
processes to meet unit objectives.
3) Develop knowledge and skills to be recognized for
expertise and functional leadership in application of
engineering principles, scientific analysis and project
management while providing advice and counsel to others.
4) Carry out all job responsibilities in a safe manner.
Develop equipment and processes that meet safety codes,
policies and guidelines. Provide for the safety and well
being of operators, maintenance and other personnel.
5) Seek, recognize, define and solve problems to achieve unit objectives. Identify complex technical issues to determine root cause.
6) Participate in the development of others within the area
of the incumbent's expertise.

Basic Qualifications:

- Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited College or University
- Requires a minimum of 12 years' experience in a variety of technical or operational assignments. Candidates with an Associate's or advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline and possessing applicable experience may also be considered.
- Must have strong experience with manufacturing control systems, such as: PLC's (Programmable Logic Controllers); variable speed motor drives; HMI (Human Machine Interfaces); sensors; automated inspection systems; DCS; Honeywell

Preferred Qualifications:

- 15+ years of experience in a variety of plant and staff
assignments, including maintenance and operations.
- Experience with the following manufacturing control
systems:Allen Bradley and/or Rockwell Automation PLC's and/or variable speed motor drives,Wonderware and/or Allen Bradley HMI
- Demonstrated continuing self-development (i.e., progress
toward an advanced degree).
- Experience working with external technical service
providers.

Other Qualifications:

- Recognized expert in Electrical Engineering with a demonstrated ability to translate that knowledge into
execution of process and capacity improvements in major
capital projects.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to
achieve project results within required timeframes.df-tc
